Our shelter can support 25 single men, 10 veterans, and 6 families.
To learn if our shelter has any openings you will need to call Shelter Services at 319-366-7999, as they fill all open beds in Cedar Rapids.
After checking-in, the bed/apartment is yours for the next 30 days (provided you follow basic rules and work on finding housing).
During the day, you'll leave the shelter to work, look for work, look for housing, attend meetings, and take care of any other responsibilities.
Staff will assist you in finding housing and identifying your strengths for attaining and maintaining while you're staying here.
We can provide bedding, hygiene items, food, clothing, laundry, household items, and other basic needs to shelter clients.
