Hops for Housing 2020
Great Beer. Great Cause.
Hops for Housing is a fund- and awareness-raising event to benefit Willis Dady Homeless Services, which provides shelter and prevention services to homeless and near-homeless households in Linn County. The event will feature beers from 35-40 local, state, national, and international breweries. Along with tasting beers, attendees will learn about Willis Dady's programs, history, and future, homelessness in the area, and how attendees can help break the cycle of homelessness.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Admission includes a souvenir pint glass, a beer booklet, a pretzel necklace, and unlimited samples (until the beer runs out!). Remember to order your t-shirt ahead of time to wear the day of! Extra T-shirts are only available at the event on Saturday while supplies last-- don't miss out!
Please note: Due to current COVID-19 related health concerns, Willis Dady is postponing this event, originally scheduled for 4/4/2020. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2020.

Can I bring my children?
No one under 21 is allowed, with the exception of babies in strollers or baby backpacks.
Do designated drivers (DDs) have to pay for admission?
No, designated drivers do not have to pay admission. They will receive a wristband of a different color and pourers will not provide them with samples. Due to the cost of the tasting glass being included in the ticket price, designated drivers do not receive a souvenir tasting glass (unless they purchase a ticket).
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be 21 years or older to sample beers/ciders. All attendees will be asked for their ID when entering the event and will receive a wristband confirming that the ID has been checked/
Is there food?
We are working with a vendor to have pizza by the slice available at the event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Street parking is free in Cedar Rapids on Saturdays! There is also a parking lot nearby and some parking garages. Public transportation is also free on Saturdays!

No, you do not have to bring your printed ticket, we can scan tickets from a smartphone.
