Veteran Grants and Per Diem

Grants and Per Diem supports veteran clients on their journey to housing and stability.

Willis Dady's Grants and Per Diem (GPD) program is dedicated to assisting veterans with finding stable housing while providing temporary shelter housing. Temporary shelter housing stays are based upon the needs of the individual client. The GPD program began in October 2018 and works closely with the Veterans Administration to provide referrals for the benefit of the veteran. GPD focuses on providing veteran's who have been experiencing homelessness with a safe, stable location to work on their immediate needs prior to entering housing. Our GPD Case Manager works with each veteran on individualized referrals to resources that can support their immediate needs. The Case Manager works to identify and connect each veteran to the programs and benefits they are eligible for. When a client is ready to identify housing, the GPD Case Manager guides them to housing resources and supports them as they work towards housing stability.

If you are a veteran seeking shelter call 319-651-8545 to see if you are eligible for Willis Dady's GPD Program.
