Current Campaigns

Join us in celebrating Hops for Housing's 11th anniversary on April 11th at Ushers Ferry Historic Village (Main Lodge) from 2:30-5:30pm! 🎉 The address is 5925 Seminole Valley Trail NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52411.

Ticketholders will receive a pretzel necklace, tasting glass, and admittance to the event with 15 local breweries and cideries to sample from. There will be live music, a silent auction, and awareness-raising games to play throughout the event! Tickets can be pre-ordered for $45 through our site, or can be purchased for $50 at the door.

Hops for Housing is an annual fund and awareness-raising event to benefit Willis Dady Homeless Services. Our mission is to empower all experiencing homelessness to build futures of self-sufficiency through advocacy, housing, and employment. This annual event brings over $40,000 to support homeless services in Linn County, IA.

Starting at 2:30 we will have live music, a silent auction, and plenty of samples for you to enjoy!

Use of tickets is for individuals 21+. ID's are checked at the door. All sales are final. At this time we are unable to replace any lost tickets by ticketholders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Endowment Fund We have two Endowment Funds at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation: Willis Dady Emergency Shelter Fund & Willis Dady Emergency Shelter Friends Fund. 25% of our operational costs are covered from private donations.

General, operational contributions from individuals, churches, groups, and businesses make up the second largest segment of our annual income. Unless designated otherwise, all donations we receive go towards operations, which includes client needs (e.g. food, hygiene items, cleaning items, etc.), client transportation (bus tickets), building utilities, building maintenance, administrative costs, staff salaries, and other operational expenses.
