2022 Run & Ride Wrap-Up

The scenic Prairie Park Fishery has been known for all kinds of activities - ice fishing, geocaching, bird watching, and even scuba diving. However, now it's known for the 10th Annual Run & Ride from this past October 8th! And we are happy to report this year's event was a success. It was safe, fun, and we raised close to $18,000 for programs that support our clients.

Over 80 participants walked, ran, or rode; and competed while taking in the lush greenery and the early fall colors. Check out the results for the 5k run, 10k run, or 5k walk races by age category and gender below!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the events and those who came out to cheer or volunteer. Not only is the Run and Ride important to us for fundraising, but we appreciate the opportunity to connect, in a meaningful way, with community members for family friendly fun.

The work of Willis Dady depends on our partnerships with the community. It is because of you that we are able to continue providing assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Linn County.

RIDE-A-THON IMPACT

This year we had our 2nd annual Kids Ride-A-Thon! Riders had 5 minutes to make as many laps as they could around two bike tracks to become changemakers in our community through fundraising. Our riders (and a runner, Brody White!) this year raised over $3,200 to support Willis Dady Homeless Services! Thank you to everyone who generously supported the next generation of changemakers in our community.

We are already thinking and preparing for next year's event. Make sure to follow our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/WillisDadyRunAndRide to stay up-to-date on progress for next year's event!

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!

We can't thank our sponsors enough for supporting Willis Dady's 10th Annual Run & Ride. Not only would this event not have been possible, but the everyday operations of our agency depend on financial support of community organizations.
